status shatter on facebook.

train at 7.21am.
train gets to Central station at 8.14AM for an 8.30AM start.
Casually take my time to work, inhaling the nice cold air whilst listening to my ipod.
I don't usually put my volume on loud - but during my walk this is what I heard,

"What he died?"
"No! He didn't die, it must be false!"
woman talking to a friend on the phone: "Did he die?" *shatters into tears*
"HOW DID HE DIE?" man talking to a woman.

And i'm thinking to myself, 'wow. death rate today in NSW must be going high.. premier won't be too happy!' - HOW? AND WHY IS EVERYONE DYING?

8.30AM - i turn on my office computer.
first program opened Internet explorer.. facebook.com .. logs in.. password in.
facebook status shatters on me,

"RIP MJ"
"you were a good man michael jackson!"

Michael Jackson died.
All i can say is, thank you for the music michael. you have done so much for the music industry.
For sure you accomplished and achieved something before you left.

Just reflecting on everyone's statuses, i felt like i didn't even need to look up the news on the internet, nor did i have to listen to the radio.

funny how facebooks even got the latest news.
funny how everyones logged in early in the morning.
funny how it's the first thing people go to.
funny how peoples lives are revolved around facebook.
AND
stupid / funny / lame how couples talk to each other through walls (cmon' stop the pda, we don't need to see your conversations. just call/text each other)
funny how statuses becomes a mini chatroom

and that's facebook for yah.

random thought: If only i was good enough in music.. i woulda loved to try out for Australian Institute of Music. I hear their students play everyday (cos they are only a level down). Ahhh!
music students. so friendly and outgoing. music.. music!

art, paintworks and lol.
